Joel Gheiler

Joel Gheiler has been a Rolf Method practitioner for more than a decade.  Born and raised in Israel, Joel studied biology and chemistry at the University of Florida, and pursued his license in massage therapy (LMT) at Educating Hands School of Massage in Miami. While studying massage, Joel was fortunate to receive a Rolf Structural Integration session, relieving him of an old hip injury. After experiencing the benefits himself, Joel earned his certification as a Rolf Method practitioner. He first studied at The Guild For Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado and then went on to study directly under Emmett Hutchins, Dr. Rolf's first approved Rolf Method instructor, in Kauai, Hawaii. Joel believes that the Rolf Method is a powerful and effective approach that addresses clients' issues ranging from acute injury to chronic pain and rehabilitation. Many clients find regular Rolf Structural Integration sessions helpful in reaching their optimal physical well being. Joel's experience and passion for facilitating healing in others has brought him into contact with people from all walks of life: from athletes and yogis to professionals and many other members of our community. Joel's unique skill and sensitivity enables him to relate to every body type. With each person he sees, Joel seeks to do what Dr. Rolf intended: re-synchronizing the body's energy systems, thereby establishing the conditions under which the body is able to heal itself.
